These Are a Few of my Favorite Things...

For a while now I've been meaning to write about some technologies that enchant me… among these are cloud based solutions, musical instruments, pieces of hardware and software that make my life in creativity and productivity not only livable but even enjoyable at times. Ableton Live, Mindmeister, Roland SH-201, and Propellerhead’s Figure app are just some of these tools that help me be me.   

Today, since I just recently became an official ambassador for this technology, I want to talk about Mindmeister.   

I found this technology a few years ago, while I was Director of Production at Hispanic Communications Network. I was searching for tools to improve productivity and I came across Mindmeister. I was immediately drawn to it because the platform behaves in a very organic way; the same way ideas behave before they evolve into brands, projects, contracts, timelines and deliverables. We started using Mindmeister for brainstorming and developing creative concepts. It was great to be able to collaborate live with other users, present our content ideas in the big screen of our conference room and see everybody's ideas evolve in front of our eyes.

I started using Mindmeister for everything... every plan... every idea...every project.

In some ways I feel I've been a Mindmeister ambassador since day one. There are so many cool features with this technology, which I will cover in future posts, but for now I just wanted to share a little bit of my experience with the technology and invite you to try it (there’s a free version)… it’s a great environment for ideas to grow!
